BLACK MUSIC NOMAD
I am the founder and host of the Black Music Nomad show, a podcast that explores the global production and circulation of Black music genres by having conversations with musicians, DJs, producers, and music event organizers among others. This podcast is a way to share my experiences as a researcher of Black music genres, highlight the trajectories and localisation of the music as it circulates globally, and giving voice to the untold stories of various musicians around the world. This podcast offers a platform to musicians, DJ, producers and industry personnel around the world to share their experiences and talk about local music scenes. Together, we explore various reinterpretations and remediations of Black music genres highlighting the trajectories of the music as it circulates globally.
